What we collect
Only your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter. The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
Why
To send you news about Nemo Point Island: Steam page, demo, campaigns, opening of the 650km Nostalgia section. Nothing else. Your address is never sold or rented.
Consent and unsubscribing
Your subscription is only active after you click the confirmation link sent by email (double opt-in). Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also write to us to be removed.
Who processes your data
We manage the subscriber list ourselves, with the open-source software listmonk, on a server rented from OVHcloud and administered by Studio Dekronia. This server is located in France (Gravelines). France applies the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which provides adequate protection within the meaning of Québec’s Law 25.
To deliver the emails, we use Brevo’s sending relay (Sendinblue SAS, France). Brevo only receives your address at the time of each send, to deliver the message, and keeps a technical record of it in its sending logs. Brevo does not hold our subscriber list and cannot use your address for its own purposes.
Like any website, our server keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, date) for security. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
YouTube videos
Videos only load if you click on them. YouTube (Google) may then set its own cookies, under its privacy policy.
Retention
Your address is kept as long as you stay subscribed. After you unsubscribe, it is only kept marked as “unsubscribed” in our list, to make sure you receive nothing more. Just ask and we delete it completely.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to direction@dekronia.com. In Québec, you can also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information.
